In the past two years, the development of pedestrian passage gates has been very rapid, from brush motors to brushless motors, and then to DC brushless motors. Why do pedestrian passage doors use DC brushless motors? What are the advantages of DC brushless motors for pedestrian advertising doors?
The main advantages of DC brushless motors are simple control and mature technology. It has excellent control characteristics that cannot be compared to AC motors. In the early development of electric vehicles, DC motors were widely used. So far, some electric vehicles have been driven by DC motors. There are brushes and mechanical commutators that limit the overload capacity of the motor and significantly increase speed. If the motor is operated for a long time, maintenance and replacement of brushes and commutators will result in rotor loss, difficulty in heat dissipation, and greatly improve the torque to mass ratio of the motor. Given the aforementioned defects of DC motors, newly developed electric vehicles generally do not use DC motors.
Brushless motor is a high-performance reducer. Its characteristic is that its external characteristics are a DC reducer and a brushless mechanical contact structure, using a permanent magnet rotor without excitation loss: the heating armature is wound around the outer stator, which is easy to dissipate heat. Brushless motors have no commutation sparks, radio interference, long service life, reliable operation, simple maintenance, and speed is not limited by mechanical commutation. With air and magnetic bearings, it can rotate hundreds of thousands of times per minute. Compared with brushless motor systems, it has the advantages of high energy density and high efficiency, and has good application prospects.
