The difference between servo motors and stepper motors

Release time:2023-09-25 10:59:57点击:

Stepping motor, which is controlled by DC pulse, generally has relatively small power and is used in open-loop automatic control systems with low accuracy requirements. One drawback of it is that it is prone to losing step. Servo motors are divided into two categories: AC and DC, with relatively high power and high accuracy; The main difference between the two is whether there is a photoelectric encoder at the end of the motor. Servo motors rely on photoelectric encoders to feedback position signals. By the way, closed-loop control can be divided into two types: semi closed-loop and full closed-loop. However, semi closed-loop devices are commonly used, and only very precise equipment uses full closed-loop devices.
